Dragon*Con prep almost done.

Laundry is going.  Apartment is straightened up.  Costumes are basically done being packed.  Just need to copy of some movies/TV shows to my laptop for the plane ride… oh did I mention our plane has wifi for $5?  I can’t wait for that.  This time tomorrow we should be already settled in our temporary hotel room and running some food/liquor errands.  It sucked, but I’m glad I got my annual freak out about everything out of the way the other day.  I’ve been pretty relaxed.  Trying to stay focused… stay on target.

That’s pretty much how I feel every year. But I bet you’ll have fun no matter what. What’s wrong w/ your deck crew outfit?

One of my snaps broke off some how and that keeps the rubber part connected to the suit.  I think I’ll still be able to wear it, but something tells me this will be the last time.  The other problem is the fabric around most of the snaps is ripping… so yeah… I’m just stressing out and making a bigger deal out of things than I need to.  

Other problem is Bethany’s rainbow dash costume.  We just got the wings and they clash terribly with her shirt… so we have two days to find a new one.  

I’m also freaking out because I’ve never worn body paint/makeup before… 

I’m sure everything will be fine and it will be a blast, but no matter what, every year the days before our the hardest for me.

I hate being broke and not having a bunch of awesome costumes for Dragon*Con.  My frakking deck crew costume is messed up and I bought the wrong parts to fix it.   l;kasdfjkl;asdj fkl;asjfl;kajsdfl;jasl;dfjal

Guess LSP will be the only costume I’m wearing.  Oh and my shitty BDU’s, if that even counts.
